If you have a new iPhone, you naturally want to go straight to where you left off with your old one. Transferring your data, contacts, photos can sometimes go less smoothly than you would hope.
With iPhone, it should work by clicking Settings → Apple ID → select your old iPhone → choose iCloud backup → download the backup. Then take your new iPhone and insert your SIM card. Place both iPhones next to each other, continue with your Apple ID, set up your phone and download your data from the iCloud.
